| Note:
Sunday School now begins at
9:45 a.m. |
| Children are important to us, and we enjoy having them around. Our nursery is staffed by parents for Sunday School, Worship, and other events throughout the year. We invite you to stop in and let us get to you know you and your child. The pictures you see are paintings done by members of our church. |

We are blessed to offer four classes for our children. Our preschool class is for ages 2 - 3 years. This age group is taught by three very dedicated teachers: Janice Ferry, Gary McInnis, and Terri Carpenter. Our Primary Class is for 4 and 5 year olds. This class is taught by a team of dedicated teachers who typically commit to teaching for a month at a time. The classroom is wonderfully equipped with age appropriate furniture and toys. Come by for a visit. |

Our elementary aged children experience a variety of learning styles. Throughout the school year, our school aged children are divided into two classes: Elementary I and Elementary II. We are currently studying from the BibleQuest series, which exploers a new Bible story every week. Both classes are taught by a team of teachers who commit to teaching one month at a time. Elementary I is for children in grades 1-3 and Elementary II is for children in grades 4-5. During the summer months children will attend the grade level they are rising into. |

OK, so we have a
little fun, but
we also do our fair share of Bible
study too. Middle School youth meet downstairs in the classroom closest
to the breezeway. Our Senior High
class meets upstairs in the classroom across from the church
office. During the summer both classes are combined and will meet
in the Middle School room. This summer we will be starting a new series called "Holy Superheroes!" which explores sacred themes in comics, graphic novels and films. We will watch a few movies during Sunday School, such as Spiderman or |
| The
Fantasic Four, and compare the characters to heroes in the Bible.
College students and adults are also welcome to attend this course
which will run through June, July and August. Each lesson is
separate so
perfect attendance is not necessary to enjoy this series! |
|
| Adults are
offered
a variety of choices on Sunday
mornings: Ogburn Class, New Beginnings Class, and Faith Formations
Class. |

The Ogburn class has been together for over 30 years and meets in the upstairs portion of our building in the room closest to the sanctuary. They typically operate with a lecture based on the study for the week. This class has been using the Interpretation Series for their main source and this fall will study Philippians and Galatians. | |
|
The New Beginnings
class meets in the downstairs
portion of
our
building in the room closest to the choir
room. This class studies a variety of topics and is a combination
of
lecture and discussion. We are currently studying Kerygma, the
Bible in Depth, which explores the Bible and its meanings for life today.
New Beginnings
is comprised of a mixture of age groups.

| The Faith
Formations class
is taught principally by Rev. Jim Ferry. This
class studies
issues related to theology. We generally join
together in reading a book as the material for
discussions on Sunday
mornings. Our current curriculum is on Genesis. |

Small groups comprise a growing part of our life together.
Throughout the year we offer various opportunities for small group
study and fellowship.
