It's Music to God's Ears

Adult Choir

The Adult Choir of First Presbyterian provides anthems and service music for Sunday worship. In addition, special programs are presented at Christmas and at other times during the year. This Choir shares a wonderful fellowship that goes beyond Sunday mornings. Rehearsals are held on Wednesdays from 7:30 - 8:30 p.m. Social times called M.A.R.S. (Monthly After Rehearsal Socials) are held once a month. Youth are encouraged to join the adult choir after graduating from the Kid's Choir program!

Kid's Choir

Children in Kindergarten through fifth grade are invited to this dynamic group. Both music education and worship performance are stressed in this choir. Special programs for Christmas and Spring give children an opportunity to develop their musical talents and self-confidence. Rehearsal run from 6:30 p.m. to 7:20 p.m.

Handbell Choir

Youth and Adults ring for special services throughout the year. Rehearsals are held on Sunday mornings, 8:45-9:20 a.m. Minimal music reading ability is required. Enthusiasm and dedication are the most important ingredients! New ringers are needed, especially for the Bass Bells.

Choir Chimes

This is a new group for kids and middle schoolers. Rehearsals are part of the Kids Choir rehearsals each Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. in the Choir Room. The group is led by Mrs. Carol Oriel.
